I miss you like the moon misses the sun—destined to chase but never touch. It’s like a melody without lyrics, a poem without rhythm, a heart that beats but never finds its song. Missing you feels like trying to hold water in my hands—no matter how tightly I grasp, you slip through my fingers, leaving only the ache of what was.

It’s the way coffee misses sugar when it’s forgotten, the way a book feels unfinished without its last chapter. It’s thunder longing for lightning, a lock with no key, the ocean yearning for the shore but always pulling away.

I miss you in the spaces between seconds, the sighs between words, and in the quiet moments when your absence echoes louder than any sound. We were fire and rain, passion and stillness, love and loss tangled together. And yet, even knowing we were never meant to be, I still find myself wishing we could have been the exception.
